Why is This Program One of the Easiest?

Lower Language Requirements

With a minimum CLB 4 score, the language requirement is easier to meet than many other immigration programs that require higher scores.

Simple Process

The application process is straightforward and user-friendly. This means less hassle and confusion when applying. The foundation of your application is a job offer. Once the job offer is available, create an EOI profile with the inb.gnb.ca portal. Receive an ITA from GNB. Once ITA is received from GNB, you will then receive 600 points in your federal account which then allows you to be nominated by the federal government for PR application.

Provincial Nomination Boost

Getting a nomination from New Brunswick adds 600 points to your Express Entry profile. This almost guarantees that you’ll receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residency in Canada.

Focus on Real Intent

New Brunswick wants people who genuinely want to live and work there. If you can show this intent, you’ll have a good chance of being accepted. International students, applicants with family and those who have lived and are living in New Brunswick are the priority applicants for this program.

No restrictions on TEER Code

The job offer can be from TEER 0 to TEER 5 (for TEER 5 pls visit GNB.CA portal for some updated information). There is no restriction on job title, job description or restriction on industry. This is one of the reasons why this program is one of the easiest in Canada.

How to know if you're eligible?

You must score 60 out of 100 in the following factors.

1. Age

Applicants can earn up to 10 points based on their age. The optimal age range for scoring the maximum points is between 22 and 55 years. This age range is considered to be the most productive in terms of workforce participation and long-term contribution to the province.

2. Language Proficiency

Language skills are critical for integration into the workplace and community. Candidates can earn up to 28 points for their proficiency in English or French. Points are awarded based on test results from recognized language testing bodies such as IELTS, CELPIP, or TEF. Higher language proficiency scores (Canadian Language Benchmark levels) correspond to more points.

3. Education

Educational qualifications can contribute up to 20 points. The higher the level of education, the more points an applicant can earn. Points are awarded for secondary education, post-secondary diplomas, degrees, and certifications. Higher education credentials, such as a master's degree or PhD, garner the highest points.

4. Work Experience

Work experience is another crucial factor, contributing up to 20 points. Applicants must demonstrate relevant work experience in their intended occupation in New Brunswick. Points are awarded based on the number of years of full-time work experience, with more years equating to higher points.

5. Employment in New Brunswick

Having a valid job offer from a New Brunswick employer can earn an applicant up to 10 points. This job offer must be for a full-time, permanent position in an eligible occupation.

6. Adaptability

Applicants can earn up to 10 points for adaptability factors that indicate their potential to successfully settle in New Brunswick. This can include previous work or study experience in the province, having family members living there, or the applicant’s spouse's language proficiency and work experience.
